Polar thermoforms a wide array of polymers to fit our customer's needs, including OPS (Oriented Polystyrene), HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), Styrene, Polypropylene and coextrusions, including barrier components. All of these materials can be custom designed to meet your marketing, distribution, product protection requirements at an economic and affordable cost.
Thermoforming high quality performance is achieved through a sequential melt phase process using vacuum, air and plug assist to produce excellent detailed parts. Thermoforming of pre-extruded roll stock is accomplished in an efficient straight line technology process where the sheet is heated or preheated and directly conveyed into the former where parts are formed with air and plug assist to distribute the right amount of material, where needed, throughout the part. The parts still in the web form are directly conveyed in-line to the trim station where they are cut, packed, inspected and boxed for ultimate shipment. |
